Auditions set for children's theater

PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Children’s Theater will audition for its summer production of “Murder Most Fowl” at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 6, and at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8.

The auditions will be at the Port Angeles Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.

The play, written by Craig Sodaro and directed by Olivia Wray, is a murder mystery that is set at a chicken cookoff.

Roles are available for high school students, a chef and a TV announcer; all roles are for youths ages 10 to 17.

Rehearsals will commence July 9 and the play will be staged at the playhouse Aug. 23-25, with a preview performance at the Port Angeles Main Library on Aug. 10. Adult volunteers to assist with the production are welcome.
